Our renovations included fully opening an exterior wall to add a large sunroom, adding a deck, a parking pad and peaked roofs over our breezeway and garage, refinishing two gables to match, remodeling two full baths, our livingroom and our breezeway, and completely remodeling and expanding our kitchen, as well as redoing our driveway and two walkways. We contracted with Steve Evereklian of STM mainly based enthusiastic recommendations from previous customers and seeing his completed work elsewhere. He discussed the work continually with us ahead of time, as he did the designs and during construction. We had some modifications as the job went along. He was very cooperative and had excellent insight and advice, keeping our needs and desires foremost. His designs were excellent and innovative. His guidance in selection of everything from flooring to tile was invaluable. He and his subcontractors were conscientious, knowledgeable, efficient and effective. They all offered excellent advice and suggestions. We were very pleased with the results, the quality and the costs. I would highly recommend STM to anyone who wants to build new or remodel an existing house.

We interviewed a number of architect/builders before settling on Steve. During the interview process Steve demonstrated that he understood not only the theoretical and aesthetics but also the real life practical from both a workflow analysis and sound cost effective construction perspective. Steve was very open to working with our concepts and not imposing his thoughts and views on our requirements. We had excellent communication and when Steve disagreed with some of our ideas, he explained why. A number of times there were opportunities where what we initially wanted would have cost more but Steve recommended cost saving approaches. Further Steve was willing to go beyond what most contractors would to make us happy. This included allowing us to reside in our house while he more than double the size of our house, saving our dogwoods by manually digging trenches for the new power lines when others would have used a backhoe killing our trees, relocating our azaleas that would have otherwise been destroyed, and matching our old wood floors to the new wood floors seamlessly just to name a few. Steve was onsite days, nights and weekends to ensure quality control and our satisfaction. Of course the real key is that he completed the work as for the price agreed and within the approved schedule. None of the people I know that had such major renovations on their homes can claim the same.
